Principal's Message

My name is Peter Paulon and it is an honor to introduce myself as the new Program Administrator for the Utica Center for Science and Industry. I am excited to be a part of the tradition of excellence at CSI and to help further the already fine accomplishments of the students.

I have been an educator for the past 20 years, the last nine of which have been spent at Utica High School as an Associate Principal. Prior to my tenure in the Utica Community Schools, I worked for West Bloomfield Schools as a Teacher, Middle School Assistant Principal, and a K—12 Curriculum Specialist in the areas of science and math. I have earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Wayne State University.

An important aspect of my work as Program Administrator will be building and maintaining solid relationships with students, families and staff. I know that CSI has a strong tradition of high academic performance. I look forward to working collaboratively with you to enhance this tradition and to continue to cultivate a culture in which all students can and will be successful.

I also believe that effective communication is essential. Please know that my door is always open, and I encourage you to contact me if ever you have a question, concern or just a good idea. Working together we will achieve our greatest success.

I look forward to meeting each of you and welcoming your children to a successful 2019-2020 school year.
